Three ITS Executives Named 2025 Pros to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive

-- ITS Logistics is honored to have its leadership team recognized across categories for tech, innovation, and exceptional leadership. --
RENO, Nev., MARCH 17, 2025 -- Today, Supply & Demand Chain Executive has recognized multiple members of the ITS Logistics team as winners in this year’s Pros to Know award lineup, which acknowledges outstanding executives whose accomplishments offer a roadmap for other leaders looking to leverage supply chain as their competitive advantage.
The three award winners represent ITS Logistics across the organization.
- Leaders in Excellence: Scott Pruneau, CEO—with over 30 years of experience leading supply chain innovation, Scott Pruneau has been an integral part of ITS Logistics’ role as a growing player in inland freight management. Pruneau’s vision has taken ITS from the #44 brokerage to #19 in less than six years by delivering customer-centric solutions through a people-first culture, hybrid capacity strategy, and proprietary technology initiatives.
- Top Transportation Innovators: Peter Weis, CIO & SVP of Supply Chain Services—Since joining ITS in 2023, Peter has been integral in the development of ITS’s proprietary technology ecosystem, leading teams across Reno, India, and San Francisco’s Silicon Valley. Weis has successfully implemented a cloud-based TMS that now manages 100% of the truckload and drayage business as well as ContainerAI, ITS’s proprietary container management platform. His human-centric approach drives AI adoption in a way that empowers teams to continuously provide better solutions for customers.
- Rising Stars: Manny McElroy, President of Transportation—Manny’s commitment to excellence has been a catalyst for ITS’s success for more than a decade. He’s now leading ITS Logistics’ expansion into Fort Worth, Texas, overseeing the launch of a new campus while scaling national truckload and drayage operations—giving ITS a strategic presence in a growing supply chain hub.
“I’m incredibly proud to see these leaders recognized for the hard work they do every day,” said Mike Crawford, COO of ITS Logistics. “Receiving awards in multiple categories illustrates the breadth of talent we have across our company—and, even more so, is well-deserved credit to every member of the team. This is what it means to live the ITS Way.”
The awards come at a time of unprecedented growth for ITS Logistics. After two years of intense investments, the company has grown to nearly four million square feet in three strategic regions across the US and is preparing for the release of several new additions to its proprietary tech stack—including customer-facing solutions. ITS also recently unveiled DropFleet, a premium drop trailer and trailer pool solution powered by over 3,400 ITS-owned trailers.
At a time when many 3PL and asset-based providers are struggling to maintain stability, ITS has continued to exceed performance forecasts, expand its asset-based solutions, and build teams across North America. “Companies in our space have faced so much adversity in the past few years,” Crawford continued. “We have been diligently focused on turning that adversity into opportunity within our customers’ supply chains, while also ensuring our team members’ futures are bright. We believe in our service mix, and the bets we’re making on people and technology continue to pay off.”
ITS Logistics offers a full suite of network transportation solutions across North America and distribution and fulfillment services to 95% of the US population within two days. These services include drayage and intermodal in 22 coastal ports and 30 rail ramps, a full suite of asset and asset-lite transportation solutions, omnichannel distribution and fulfillment, LTL, and outbound small parcel.
"Many of today's supply chain pros are more than just leaders within their space; they're true pioneers of change. This year’s list of winners really pushed the boundaries in all facets; creating, implementing, transforming, innovating, reinventing, and collaborating. They executed on all fronts, over-delivering and over-performing. They are true professionals to know in the supply chain space," says Marina Mayer, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive and co-founder of the Women in Supply Chain Forum.
