Randy Perkins, Vice President of Network Engineering
Randy Perkins serves as the Vice President of Network Engineering at ITS Logistics. In his current role, Randy is responsible for optimizing the Network Transportation and Dedicated Fleet service offerings to enhance efficiency and profitability, with a specialized focus on trailer assets.
Randy began his career with ITS in 2014 as a logistics management trainee. Over time, he moved through various operational roles, starting from the ground level and eventually taking on the responsibilities of operations manager. This progression led him to his current role as the VP of Network Operations.
Randy takes great pride in his work, emphasizing values such as honor, family, leadership, and collaboration. He played a crucial role in ITS's growth, witnessing its integration into the community, the university, and various facets of the city. He finds fulfillment in helping his team develop.
Before joining ITS, Randy worked in the fitness industry as a lead trainer at Fitness Connections and CrossFit USA in Arizona. He also gained valuable experience at Smith Power Products, specializing in Detroit Diesel Parts, covering everything from transmissions to engines. Randy majored in kinesiology and also played basketball and football at Feather River before transferring to Chandler Gilbert in Arizona and later Arizona State.
Randy lives by the motto "never forget where you came from," remaining grounded despite his professional achievements. Committed to community service, he aspires to be a foundational pillar by supporting children, women, the homeless, and various other causes.
Randy is happily married with two children and enjoys spending time with his extended family. Outside of his role at ITS, Randy expresses enthusiasm for self-development, motivational work, studying psychology and behavioral patterns, and engaging in competitive activities, particularly basketball and football.
