ITS Logistics is set to make a significant move to Fort Worth, Texas, marking a major milestone in its expansion plans. The company will soon open a newly renovated 20,000 sq ft center in the heart of the city's Cultural District. This center, designed with an open floor plan and state-of-the-art amenities, will include working and meeting areas, a wellness center and gym, a team member lounge, an arcade, and a private terrace with views of downtown Fort Worth.
The new location, 2821 West 7th Street, will be within walking distance of some of Fort Worth’s best restaurants, gyms, parks, cafés, and nightlife. The company expects to begin operations out of the center in the 3rd quarter.
The expansion to Fort Worth is a strategic step for ITS Logistics to grow its operations, encompassing network transportation management, drayage and intermodal services, distribution and fulfillment, and managed solutions. This new center will be the company's second location in Fort Worth, complementing the 1.1M sq ft distribution center that opened in Q4 of 2023.
"We are excited about the continued expansion of our capabilities and the overall strategy of combining our asset and asset-lite transportation offerings with our distribution services in key markets, powered by some of the best technology in supply chain," said Manny McElroy- President, Transportation.
McElroy, who has been with ITS Logistics since 2012, has an extensive background, which includes roles from account executive to senior vice president of transportation, positions him well to oversee the Fort Worth operations and the hiring of approximately 300 people over the next 3-4 years.
“Fort Worth has a lot of similarities to Reno. It’s fast-growing, and we want to be part of that growth and help it along,” said McElroy. “There’s a good mix of blue and white-collar workers, and there are strong educational institutes to hire from, which lends us the opportunity to recruit top talent.”
ITS Logistics has a history of partnering with and investing in educational institutions. In 2023, the company committed to fully funding the University of Nevada, Reno’s Supply Chain Management degree. McElroy hopes that ITS will make similar investments in the Fort Worth community to achieve mutual growth.
“The mentality is that we’re going to swing for the fence with this new location, and being strategic and trusting our people will be the key to our success,” McElroy added.
