Jim Hazboun joined ITS Logistics in 2021 as the Chief People Officer (CPO)/Senior Vice President of People and HR and plays a key role in the strategic planning and executive activities for continued innovation and growth. Jim acts as a key driver of organization design and a unifying force to align structure, process, rewards, and talent with the strategy of business.

Prior to joining ITS, Jim served as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)/Executive Vice President of HR for Banc of California, a full service business bank with approximately $11 billion in assets. He led Banc’s human resources and marketing groups, including recruiting, training, talent development, and compensation functions as well as corporate and business unit marketing, branding, sponsorships, and partnerships. He also served as the chair to the bank’s foundation.

Before the bank, Jim held the role of Chief Human Resources & Administrative Officer (CHRO & CAO)/Senior Vice President of Corporate Services at Hyundai Capital America (HCA), a $30 billion, top-10 auto-finance company. At HCA, Jim was the head of the corporate services division, which included human resources, corporate culture, information technology, project management office, business innovation, procurement, and administration services.

Prior to that, Jim served in several key roles in management consulting, banking, and research & development. He holds a BA in liberal arts from the University of the Pacific. He was also an NCAA Division I Football scholarship recipient. Jim serves on the Governing Board for the Los Angeles CHRO Summit. He has been awarded the CHRO Leader of Distinction Award by HRO Today Magazine for 2017 and 2018. His interests include reading, mixed martial arts, and spending time with his family.
